We are very happy to invite you to our 3nd LIFT Adult Retreat from Friday November 10th to Sunday November 12th. All profits will support our awesome work with youth at risk. For a whole weekend in the beautiful landscape of Sutton, come discover and embody the values and principles of LIFT: healthy mind, body and spirit through nutrition, physical activity and mindfulness!
Our health experts will be around all week-end with participants, to answer questions, provide services and especially to join the fun. Our main objectives are that you feel amazing, have fun and meet awesome people.
Holistic chef Meesh Coles is flying in from Vancouver, BC to execute the finest vegetarian dishes you will have ever tasted (even heavy meat eater will have their taste buds exploding). Her passion for healthy nutrition and amazing talent for cooking has provided her the opportunity to travel worldly with her work, cooking for Hollywood Stars, creative events, personal clients and hold workshops to inspire others through the art of healthy eating.
For LIFT, physical activity rimes with play and fun. As we grow older, we tend forget how important it is to have fun with our bodies and especially how to feel good in them.
Our favorite yogi in the world, Jeanne Mudie is a very knowledgeable, generous and wise teacher. Bringing passion into her practice and love to her participants, her practices are guaranteed to help you experience new “interesting” body movements and especially reach greater levels of well-being. You’re curious to meet with her now? Go visit her studio today at ashtangamontreal.com and sign up for a class.
Throughout the weekend, Jonathan Naylor will be available for individual sessions with all participants if they are interested in meeting an osteopath/kinesiologist. He will also be hosting a lower back injury prevention and intervention workshop collaborated with our Co-Director Jonathan Sbrollini. If you’re interested in Jonathan Naylor’s services right now, don’t be shy to visit his website and/or give him a call naylorosteopathie.ca
The many benefit of meditation have been proven for hundreds of years, but have just recently been more popular in western countries. Meditation is now making its way in schools, universities, workplaces and has been one of the pillars of LIFT since its beginning. Having left his law practice behind, our Co-Director and mindfulness teacher Elvis Grahovic will be guiding participants through meditations all weekend, as an effective stress reduction and management tool, but also an effective way to explore oneself.
